What happens after the 100 seats sell out?

The Lifetime Founder tier closes. We do not plan to re-open it. If we ever do, it will not be at $199. After seats are claimed, Solo tier remains available as a $19 per-month subscription with a 7-day free trial.

What if Rateven shuts down before 5 years?

Every Lifetime Founder buyer receives a pro-rated refund: (remaining full months of the 60-month minimum divided by 60) times price paid, refunded through Polar to the original payment method. This is written into the Terms at section 3c, not marketing copy.

Is this a security or an equity investment?

No. The Lifetime Founder tier is a license to use the software. It conveys no equity, revenue share, partnership, or investor relationship. One of the five required checkboxes at checkout confirms you understand this.

Can I transfer my license later?

No. The license is personal, non-transferable, and cannot be resold, sublicensed, assigned, gifted, or included in a business sale, estate, or bankruptcy. Resale voids the license with no refund.

Do I get a 14-day EU withdrawal right?

Yes if you want it. EU consumer buyers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU. If you leave the fourth acknowledgment box unchecked and email hello@rateven.com with 'delay activation', we provision your license on day 15. § 03 / Why 100 seats, not unlimited

The Lifetime Founder tier is intentionally capped. It is a one-time cash event that helps us fund the next 10 months of operations. After 100 seats, the tier closes. We do not plan to re-open it; if we ever do it will not be at $199.

This is a Lithuanian sole-trader operation run by one person. The service runs on Cloudflare Workers and has minimal recurring costs. The 5-year floor below is how we back the promise with contract language, not marketing copy.

Five required acknowledgments

All five must be checked. This is a one-time purchase with specific consumer-law implications. Read each one.

Rateven commits to run the service for at least 5 years from my purchase date. After 5 years 'lifetime' means the ordinary operational life of the service.

I accept the pro-rated refund formula if the service is shut down before 5 years.

I understand my license is personal, non-transferable, and cannot be resold.

The license cannot be sold, sublicensed, assigned, gifted, or transferred, including as part of a business sale, estate, or bankruptcy. Resale voids the license with no refund.

I consent to immediate access and waive the 14-day EU withdrawal right (Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m)).

By consenting to immediate access to the full feature set I lose the 14-day cooling-off right once the service has been fully performed. If I want the 14-day right, I should not check this box and should not buy today.

I understand this is a license to use software, not equity, not a security, not a revenue share.

The Lifetime Founder tier conveys only a license to use the service. It creates no partnership, agency, joint venture, or investor relationship between me and the operator.

§ 05 / The long version of the 5-year floor

If we discontinue the Lifetime Founder tier or the wedding-vendor product before the 5-year minimum, every active Lifetime Founder buyer receives a pro-rated refund:

The refund is paid through Polar to the original payment method, net of any third-party processor fees Polar does not return to us. No other damages, lost profits, or consequential amounts are owed. Full clause at /terms section 3c.

EU consumer buyers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU Article 9. If you want to keep the full 14-day cooling-off right, do not check the fourth acknowledgment above and email hello@rateven.com after purchase with "delay activation" in the subject. We will provision your license on day 15. If you check the fourth box, you consent to immediate access and accept that the 14-day right terminates once the service is fully performed (Article 16(m)).
