0. Operator

Rateven is operated by Povilas Konopackas, a sole trader registered in Lithuania, EU (individualios veikla pagal pažymą). Contact: hello@rateven.com.

1. Informational service

Rateven provides information about freelance developer pricing for custom integration work. Outputs are informational only. They are not professional, legal, financial, accounting, or tax advice. You are responsible for your own pricing, contracts, and client relationships.

2. No warranty

Rateven is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Price ranges are estimates derived from public data; they are not guarantees of market rates or acceptance by any client.

3. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rateven, its operators, contributors, and service providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost opportunities, arising from your use of or reliance on Rateven, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. For any direct claim, total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid Rateven in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater. Because Rateven is free, the cap is USD 50.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to abuse, reverse engineer, scrape at unreasonable rates, or use Rateven to harass, deceive, or harm any party. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

5. Third-party content

Benchmark entries link to third-party publications. Rateven does not endorse or control those pages and is not responsible for their accuracy, availability, or policies.

6. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site with a revised date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Disputes will be resolved in the courts competent for the operator's place of business, except where mandatory consumer-protection law grants you additional rights.
